Police say their preliminary investigation reveals that 52-year-old Irma Stanley, who was driving a Kia Sportage, pulled out in front of a Lincoln Navigator. It happened on 15th street at Fortune Avenue.
Stanley and her passenger, 41-year-old Lashaun Middleton, both from Panama City were taken to Bay Medical Center. Stanley later died and Middleton is currently in critical condition.
The driver of the Navigator, 62-year-old Michael White of Woodstock, Georgia along with several young passengers were treated at the scene.
