On August 14, Bay County's political picture will get a lot clearer. That's when voters who don't cast early ballots – or vote absentee – will go to the polls for the primary election.
Candidates for office are making a last minute push to gather financial support. They have until August 9, four days prior to the election, to collect contributions. Financial reports are due August 10.
