Two Arrested in Alford Meth Bust

In the early morning hours of Monday, July 30, 2012 the Jackson County Sheriff's Office was notified of a medical emergency that involved a person being unresponsive and in a life threatening condition at 1746 Carolina Street, Alford, Florida. A subsequent investigation resulted in a search warrant being obtained to search the residence.

Later that day, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office executed the search warrant at the residence of Tony Daniel Lagman located at 1746 Carolina Street, Alford, Florida. During the course of the search warrant, a quantity of finished methamphetamine was located as well as a 20-ounce drink bottle containing methamphetamine oil. Also, located in the residence, was an abundance of drug paraphernalia including smoking pipes and straws consistent with smoking and snorting methamphetamine as well as spoons and hypodermic needles consistent with using methamphetamine intravenously. There were multiple hypodermic needles located within the residence that contained suspected methamphetamine.

Tony Daniel Lagman was later located and arrested on charges of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Julia Diana Robinson, who was residing at Lagman's residence, was also placed under arrest after locating Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia within her personal belongings inside the residence.

The investigation into the death is continuing at this time.
