UPDATE: Motorcycle Crash Puts One Man in Critical Condition

54 year old Phillip Lowery remains in critical condition at Bay Medical Center Sunday night. Panama City Beach Police say Lowery was east-bound on Hutchinson Boulevard just before 8 o'clock last night.  When Lowery attempted to turn his Harley Davidson onto Richard Jackson Boulevard. He was struck by a west bound Nissan Altima driven by Benjamin Connor of Freeport. Lowery was thrown from his motorcycle. Beach Police are continuing their investigation.

 A wreck involving a motorcycle and a car has sent one man to the hospital in critical condition Saturday night. The accident happened at the intersection of Middle Beach Road and Richard Jackson Boulevard. Authorities arrived on scene a little after 8 o'clock. According to initial reports the Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading east on Middle Beach Road and tried to make a left hand turn onto R. Jackson Boulevard. Authorities say the motorcycle pulled into the path of a black Nissan Altima and the rider was thrown from the bike.

"He was launched from the vehicle about 20 feet and rushed to Bay Medical in critical condition. They weren't able to tell immediately if he was alive or dead," said Officer Shaun Maguadog.

The driver of the motorcycle is currently listed in critical condition. The driver of the black Nissan Altima was not injured.
