A Bay County Sheriff's Office deputy is recovering from minor injuries after his patrol car was struck by another vehicle.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 6:30 a.m. Saturday on Front Beach Road at the access road to U. S. Highway 98.
The FHP said Deputy Scott Frazier's car was hit by a Honda Accord driven by Alyssa Johnson-Hernandez, 20, of Southport. Johnson-Hernandez was not injured, but the FHP ticketed her for running a red light.
