Starting in 2014, Panama City drivers will notice a few changes on a popular roadway.
The Florida Department of Transportation met with residents to talk about changes to Business 98 in Panama City. The current plan is to re-pave the entire road from Harrison Avenue to Tyndall Parkway. There are also drainage improvements and pedestrian signals in the works for several major intersections, including Sherman Avenue and Tyndall Parkway.
The $4 million dollar project will start in Winter of 2014 and be completed by 2015. The state is still looking for your input on the project. To submit your thoughts and ideas, you can contact Greg Rogers, Florida Department of Transportation, 1074 Highway 90, Chipley, FL 32428. You can also e-mail Rogers at greg.rogers@dot.state.fl.us
