"Moms of Preschoolers" Program Starts Monday - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader
Gulf Beach Baptist MOPS group is gearing up for another exciting year that will begin Monday, August 27 at 9am. MOPS, which stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, is a non-denominational ministry for women who are expecting their first child, have a child in kindergarten or have a child of any age in between.
The MOPS program is designed to nurture moms during this important and busy season of life while their children are cared for by loving caregivers.
MOPS meetings begin with refreshments and time to socialize. Then, moms are encouraged through teaching and discussion on topics such as marriage, child rearing, shopping on a budget and relationships . This is followed by time for small group discussion and a craft or other creative activity.
