Transient Charged with Robbery and Aggravated Battery

According to Panama City Beach Police 31-year-old Jacob Gosselin allegedly punched the victim with his fist, stealing about $50 in cash.

Police say he committed the crimes late Friday afternoon at the Baytowne trolley stop on Middle Beach Road next to Wal-mart. The unidentified victim reportedly suffered a large laceration to his lower chin. Gosselin is charged with aggravated battery and robbery.

The investigation is still ongoing.
