No charges are anticipated in an early Saturday morning shooting that left a Panama City Beach man dead.

Bay County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to 2110 Allison Avenue at 2:01 a.m. and found William Foster, 30, unresponsive on the bathroom floor.  According to the BCSO incident report, Foster's live-in girlfriend, Shantal Acevedo, was kneeling next to him and crying.

Foster was pronounced dead at the scene by an EMS paramedic.

The sheriff's office said Acevedo, 24, shot Foster in self defense.  The couple's eight month old child was in the home at the time of the shooting.
