Three Teens Killed in Grand Ridge Crash

A traffic accident in Jackson County leaves three teens dead.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the accident happened this afternoon at the intersection of Sand Ridge Church Road and Murphy Lane in Grand Ridge.

The driver 15 year old Ted Jeter was traveling East on Sand Ridge Church Road when his 1999 Buick LaSabre drifted to the right side of the roadway.

Jeter over-corrected steering toward the left, then over-corrected steering toward the right, causing the vehicle to enter into a side skid leading with the drivers door.

The car hit an oak tree that was located south of the roads edge.

Both the driver and a passenger 16 year old Kristian McClamma were pronounced dead at the scene.

The third victim 16 year old Christopher Hobbs was airlifted to Tallahassee Memorial....were he later died of his injuries.
