In preparation for the News 13 Pet Project, members of the Panama City Women's Club and Mosley High Juniorettes teamed up with the Bay County Animal Control to learn about safety and sanitation when handling stray animals. "They need to know health issues about how to wash their hands, how to properly care for the animals, and how to clean up after the animals and how to keep their pins clean and sanitary," said Julie Clark, Mosley High Juniorette Advisor. The Bay County Animal Control allows animal adoption all year round and News 13 will feature adoptable pets on News 13 Midday.
