US Senate Candidate, Connie Mack, made a pit stop in Panama City on Wednesday.
Mack has been on a ‘thank you' tour of the state for the last five days, encouraging voters to head to the ballot box on Election Day in November.
The Republican paused to hear the concerns of residents, take pictures and reflect on the campaign season.
Mack talked to News 13 about the importance of this election and why he's the better choice for Florida over incumbent Democratic Senator, Bill Nelson.
"I think people will look at this election as the tipping point. Are we going to go down the road to Greece or are we going to go the way of prosperity? It's that important. We've got a President and Senator Nelson who have nationalized our healthcare, they want to nationalize the automobile industry, they want to nationalize the banks. That's not what America is about. It's about free market and free enterprise and that's what Mitt Romney and I will fight for," said Mack.
The deadline to register to vote is October 9th. The general election is November 6th.
