The Panama City Beach Police are searching for a female that they think is responsible for robbing the PNC Bank of Grand Panama on Panama City Beach.
The incident happened around 9:55 a.m. The female was captured on surveillance footage at the bank wearing a blonde wig.
Police say she left the scene in a 2010 or 2011 silver Honda heading west on Middle Beach Road. Police will not disclose how much money was taken.
The Panama City Beach Police also responded to a bomb threat at the Wal-Mart off Hutchinson Boulevard around 9 a.m. According to Beach Police Chief Drew Whitman, it's possible that the incidents are related.
Whitman says it was a woman who called in the bomb threat at Wal-Mart earlier which leads them to believe the robbery suspect may have used the bomb threat as a diversion.
The investigation is ongoing.
