UPDATED: Bank Robbery Suspect Appears in Court

44-year-old Patricia Brewer is charged with robbery, and making a false report about a bomb.

Brewer allegedly called in a bomb threat to the beach Walmart store, a call police later called a diversion.

About an hour later Brewer allegedly walked into the PNC bank branch on Grand Panama Boulevard and told the teller to give her cash or she would blow up the building.

Police later found Brewer's car at the Cabana West Apartments and that's where she was arrested. This morning, Bay County Judge Timothy Campbell set Brewer's bond at $120,000.00

A Panama City Beach woman is behind bars after police say she called in a bomb threat at a business and then robbed a nearby bank.

Panama City Beach Police say 44 year old Patricia Brewer is Charged with robbery and making a false report about a bomb.

At around ten this morning a bomb threat was called in to the beach Walmart store...by a female.

Panama City Beach Police say the threat a diversion to distract authorities during the bank robbery....about an hour later.

the robbery took place at the PNC Bank located on Grand Panama Blvd.

Authorities say Brewer walked into the bank and told the teller to give her cash or she would blow the building up.

After finding Brewers vehicle at the Cabana West Apartments...they arrested her in her apartment.
