Freeport Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader

The Walton County Sheriff's Office arrested a Freeport man early Saturday morning on child pornography charges.

Authorities said an informant told them Gene Edward Alden, 57, had taken inappropriate photographs of a minor and was showing the photos to people.

Investigators later located Alden and reportedly found more than 10 photos of the victim.  Alden was booked into the Walton County Department of Corrections.

The WCSO said the case is still active and the investigation is continuing.
