Proving you can come back from whatever hand life may deal you is the case for a Southport singer and songwriter. George Arthur suffered a brain hemorrage in 2007.
He struggled for years with various issues including depression, but would make a comeback three years later. Arthur started writing songs again and during his recovery also began singing and playing keyboard and guitar.
Things have been happening fast since then. George has recorded an album entitled Destiny. He says there's talk of going to Nashville where a couple of his songs could be released nationally under inspirational country and that would go a long way in helping him get to the next level of his music career.
Until then George will continue to perform locally at various volunteer events and charity shows, many for senior citizens and kids with disabilities.
