MDconnectME’s mobile application reduces stress for operating room staff -- improves patient-family experience and overall satisfaction

Your child is scheduled for surgery today and you are sitting in the patient holding area nervously awaiting the procedure to begin. Anxiety mounts. The Surgeon walks in to help to diffuse the tenuous moments - then asks if you and your loved ones can receive email or text. 2 hours later, Mom is in the cafeteria and gets a message “Surgery went well and is close to finishing. Please meet Dr. in front of the recovery area in 30 minutes.”
