Dr. Timothy Nichols from Emerald Coast Urgent Care says his clinics have seen numerous cases of Allergic Rhinitis.

Symptoms include:

  • Runny nose
  • Blocked nose
  • Sneezing
  • Itchy, watery eyes
  • Headaches
  • Scratchy throat
  • Wheezing/Shortness of breath (medical emergency)

Dr. Nichols says treatment includes:

  • Antihistamines
  • Anti-allergy nasal sprays
  • Eye drops 
  • Steroid preparations
