Retired Veteran Makes Stop in Panama City To Rally Support For President Barack Obama

Posted: Updated:

Retired 15th Sergeant Major of the United States Marine Corp, John Estrada,  who is traveling with Obama Biden campaign made a stop in Panama City on Saturday. Estrada talked to voters about President Barack Obama's last 4 years and why he deserves another term.

Estrada says he wanted to talk to voters to educate them and clear up the misconceptions he feels many have about what President Barack Obama has done for the country the past four years.

Estrada spoke about how President Obama has helped veterans and their families tremendously; for example, he stated how the President has expanded healthcare benefits to hundreds of thousands new veterans.

With the election just days away, Estrada says the most important thing voters should focus on is the country's economic recovery.

"Regardless of what anyone is saying, as President Clinton likes to say, look at the math," says Estrada. "This president took over, this economy was heading south rapidly. We were headed into a great depression, he stopped it and slowly it's started to come back up. " He also said the country is on track and the President has created 5.2 million jobs.
