Mosley grad David Herndon has had quite the journey in the big leagues. Over the past three years the 27 year old right handed pitcher appeared in 94 games for Philadelphia finishing with a 3.85 e-r-a.
Last month, Herndon was picked up by Toronto after being placed on assignment by the Phillies and now he's on the move again.
The New York Yankees claimed Herndon off waivers Tuesday as well as lefty pitcher Josh Spence from San Diego. Herndon underwent Tommy John Surgery in June and is looking for a fresh start with the yanks.
