Cerner Inpatient RN Go-Live successfully completed for all Inpatient departments.

Jacksonville, FLorida (PRWEB) November 15, 2012

International electronic health records (EHR) consulting company Healthcare Clinical Informatics (HCI) is pleased to announce the successful implementation of the Cerner Inpatient RN Go-Live for Lakeland Regional Medical Center, completed in June.

In its partnership with HCI for the implementation of its comprehensive EHR system, Lakeland relied on HCI's deeply experienced EHR go-live team to lend more than 35 RN’s and 1 Pharmacist for at-the-elbow support of the Cerner inpatient RN implementation.

According to Randy Grams, HCI's Vice President of Client Program Design and Deployment, HCI had "an enormous responsibility to support clinicians and to ensure the project's success.”

HCI staffed 36 inpatient at-the-elbow supports with 100% clinicians on multiple go-lives, which included assembling and training team members who were able to immediately start independently. Even with constant schedule changes HCI’s go-live supporters had 100% shift coverage for the duration of the one month Go-Live.

"Our on-site go-live project leadership team worked 24/7," said Grams, "managing shift change meetings and closely supporting project leadership to make sure changes and hot spots were quickly addressed across all inpatient floors.”

HCI’s broad mix of past go-live experience helped our team to deliver with confidence and address the most complex of Lakeland’s installation issues.
