Bay County Hunters Get Help From The Sheriff's Office - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader

As hunting season gets closer, many hunters are getting their rifles ready, and one organization is doing their part to help get the hunters ready.

Hunters in our area have a hard time getting their sites on their rifles set right do to the fact that there is no long range shooting facility to use.  That's where the sheriff's office comes in to help. The Sheriffs Office has opened up their gun range off of camp flowers road to the public. 

Hunters and sportsmen came out to the range, and with the help from the deputies were about to make sure that their guns are shooting true.

Capt. Greg Peel with the Sheriff Office is hopeful that the Sheriff Office will continue this again next year.
