A fierce fire on Panama City Beach destroys a utility shed near a major roadway. A video sent to us by Ryan Scalf shows him driving by the Millers' Motorsports on Front Beach Road.
Firefighters got the call close to 3:30 p-m and responded to the engulfed building. Employees say they called 9-11 once they noticed the blaze. Quickly after, firefighters were there fighting off flames.
Robert Miller an employee there tells us there was no one in the structure at the time of the fire, but was concerned about the ammunition inside.
"You know I was out back working, this is our storage shed and we just kept some furniture and appliances, stuff like that in there. This thing burnt down in four minutes. It was gone, there was nothing left." Miller says.
The State Fire Marshal was on scene to determine the cause of the fire, which is unclear at this time. The Bay County Fire Department says the building was destroyed. There was minor damage to the boats in the lot.
Bay County control is investigating a fire at a business located at 8014 Front Beach Road. The name of the business is Miller's Motorsports.
Front Beach Road is now reopened.
News 13 has a crew on the way to the scene. We will have more information when it becomes available.
