Bay County Tree Lighting Ceremony - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader

Bay County rang in the official start to the holiday season with a tree lighting ceremony, Thursday evening. Dozens gathered to light the two beautiful trees standing at the government center's main entrance.

The event kicked off around 5 p.m. There were cookies, hot chocolate and Santa. Residents and public officials gathered to enjoy the decorations and to flip the switch on the massive tree. Commissioners say this event means a lot to the community.
