
Bond has been set at $25,000 for a man charged in connection with a Saturday night stabbing in downtown Panama City.
Jock Houpt, 44, appeared in court Sunday morning on a charge of aggravated battery with a knife.
According to Panama City Police, officers were called to the 600 block of Cone Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The unidentified victim reportedly suffered serious, but non-life threatening, injuries and was taken to Bay Medical Center for treatment.
About an hour later, police arrested Houpt at a bar on Beach Drive.
