The Bay County Sheriff's Office is searching for a person who robbed an employee of a Callaway business Saturday night and fired a gun in the process.
A BCSO investigator said deputies responded to Boost Mobile in the Callaway Village Square at 9:20 p.m. According to the BCSO, employees were leaving to go home when a person wearing a ski mask approached them behind the business and brandished a gun. Witnesses reported three shots were fired before the suspect fled on foot with a purse taken from one of the employees.
No one was injured in the robbery; however, the BCSO said one bullet went through the windshield of a vehicle, passed through the passenger seat, and lodged in the rear door.
