A jury is selected for a murder trial in Bay County court this week. 48-year old Judy Lynn Gsell is set to start trial on Wednesday with Judge Elijah Smiley presiding. Gsell is accused of murdering her husband Raymond in January, and stuffing his body in a freezer.
There are five women and three men selected to serve on the six-person jury with two alternates. Included in that testimony against Gsell will be from Dawn Ruth Ann Ross. Ross pleaded no contest in September to second-degree murder and robbery. Ross faces a sentence of 40 years in prison; her sentence was put off until after Gsell's trial.
