Tyndall Air Force Base honored senior veterans with their 26th annual "Golden Age Christmas Party".
About 300 guests were treated to food, drinks, and dancing on Tuesday. Volunteers from all over base came to show their support by passing out refreshments.
Aside from all the fun, the party is mainly Tyndall's way of thanking those golden age veterans and their families for their service.
"Sometimes we tend for forget those who came before us and served our country. We need to recognize them, and not just the ones that are serving right now, because they are the ones that set the path for us.. and because of that we need to recognize them and show that during the holidays -- especially during the holidays -- some of them don't have their families and we just need to show our appreciation," said Chief Commander Sergeant, Joseph Pritchard.
Guests also received fruit baskets to take home with them after the party.
