Rising Leaders Welcomes the Community - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader

The Rising Leaders Academy held its first open house on Thursday in Panama City.  The school is the only Expeditionary Learning charter school in our area.  The school hopes to become one of the top schools in the nation.

Founder and principal of Rising Leaders Academy Suha Jaber is dedicated to empowering students to become rising leaders through a curriculum that includes innovative and challenging lessons.   So far, the school year has been a success and the parents are pleased.  "I definitely like the hands on learning and I think the children retain the information a lot better," said Tarone Watley, the parent of two students enrolled in the academy.
