Kathie Riley and Chef Mike, from My Best Friend's Kitchen visited News 13 This Morning on Wednesday. They were here to share a recipe for a Christmas quiche.

Quiche
Makes 2 –9" Deep Dish Quiches
Ingredients:
- 2 –9" deep dish frozen pie crusts
- Filling Ingredients: Ham, bacon, sausage, shrimp, onion, mushrooms, spinach, diced tomatoes
- 2 cups grated cheese
- Custard:
- 8 large eggs
- 2 ½ cups half and half
- 1 tsp BFS
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Prick crust with fork – bake 10 – 12 minutes until slightly brown
- Make custard mix - mix together eggs and half and half and BFS and lightly whisk
- Place filling ingredients in frozen pie crusts
- Sprinkle cheese on top of filling
- Pour custard mix over filling, dividing between the two
To cook:
- Bake for 45 – 60 minutes until crust is golden and custard is set
- Allow to rest 5 minutes before cutting
