Last Minute Christmas Shoppers Hit the Stores - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader

It was crowded at the Panama City Mall Monday as last minute holiday shoppers set out to find the perfect gift for that special someone.

Holiday sales in the United States in 2012 are expected to increase 4.1 percent over last year, according to the National Retail Federation. Monday at the mall, the hustle and bustle was clear; plenty of last minute shoppers still on the hunt.

Some looking for clothes, toys and jewelry. Others were looking for the hottest piece of technology. Either way, shoppers experienced the rush.

If you didn't make it to the mall on time, other Stores like Target and Kmart will be open to at least 9 PM.
