Posted: Updated:

The Panama City Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Fill-
Ups Store, located at 3534 W. Highway 98 on January 7, 2013, at approximately 8:30 pm.

Officers and detectives responded to the scene after the store clerk reported that 2 males
described as, one white male and one black male, entered the store wearing red bandanas over
their faces, black jackets, blue jeans and gloves.

The black male subject brandished a handgun, demanding money from the store clerk as the white male stood in the doorway. Following the robbery, the males fled from the store on foot towards 19th Street.

Responding officers located the black jackets, gloves, and bandanas discarded by the subjects near 19th Street and Michigan

Avenue. A Bay County Sheriff's Office K9 unit assisted in the search and tracked the subjects from the store to the same intersection where the clothing was located. The subjects may have entered an unknown vehicle at that point.

The males are described as being possibly in their 20's; 5'8" in height and medium builds.
