In basketball news the American Basketball League has expanded into Panama City, as The Panama City Breeze prep to hit the court for their first game.
The new league that begins play Saturday Night will consists of two conferences with six teams in each conference.
The Panama City Breeze are in the Tropics Conference along with teams from as far away as Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
The Breeze team has an eleven player roster with four of those from Panama City. Orin O'bryant, Derrio Green, Lonnell Jones and Martez Ricks.
The Breeze first game is Saturday Night at 7:00pm CST against Fort Lauderdale and will take place in the Rutherford Gymnasium.
Breeze Head Coach Ty Fisher said fans who attend will see quality, entertaining, professional basketball.
