Bettina Mead, Festival Chair for the 14th Annual booksALIVE! Festival, visited WMBB studio today with books and recipes from featured authors of the 2013 event.

booksALIVE! will be held on Feb. 2 at the Holley Academic Center on Panama City's FSU campus. The festival began in the summer of 1999 and has grown into one of the most respected events of its kind from Jacksonville, Florida to Jackson, Mississippi.

Past keynote speakers have included several New York Times bestselling authors, a Pulitzer Prize winner, a Governor, a United States Congressman, a Presidential candidate, and a "60 Minutes" network producer (who is currently a Senior Vice President of the Country Music Network).
