The 2013 Gulf World Winter Concert Series kicked off with an Aloha From Hawaii 40th Anniversary Concert. The concert featured Todd Allen Herendeen and The Go Big Go Home Band. In 1973, Elvis was the first satellite concert in music history, which was broadcast to over a billion people. "People are interested in hearing what we've chosen for them...a big excited crowd about something they've never heard before and that's a 22-23 piece band backing up Todd Herendeen on the stage doing the Aloha concert," owner of Gulf World, Ron Hardy said. The Gulf World Winter Concert Series will continue with performances from Still Surfin, a Beach Boys tribute band and The Platters.
