Pilot Club Helps send High School Students to College with a Pancake Breakfast

In Panama City hotcakes and hot coffee were on the menu at a breakfast to benefit outstanding students.

This is the third year that the Pilot Club of Panama City, along with Anchor Clubs from Bay District High Schools hosted breakfast at Applebee's restaurant.

Among the servers, News 13's Jerry Brown and Amy Hoyt who poured coffee and sold raffle tickets.

Each year the Pilot Club awards three 1000 dollar scholarships to assist college bound students.

Last year's pancake festival raised nearly 4000 dollars. The Pilot Club will also use the funds to assist victims of brain related disorders.
