
UPDATE: The Panama City Police have charged a local man in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday night that sent three people to the hospital.
According to the Panama City Police Department, 34-year-old Joshua D. Ray was charged with DUI-Refusal to Submit to Breath Test, DUI 2nd or More Refusal to Submit to Breath Test, Driving on suspended license (Habitual Offender), Leaving the scene of a crash involving injuries and Open Containers of Alcohol in Vehicle (citation issued).

A two vehicle collision on Wednesday night sends three people to the hospital and one to jail.
Panama City Police say two SUV's crashed at the intersection of Highway 77 and 23rd St. near the Panama City Mall. It happened around 8:20 p.m. The three people hurt were in a Jeep SUV, they were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the other SUV fled the scene and after a short chase, the driver was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.
He was stopped and taken into custody in the Cove area of Panama City. No names have been released at this time.
