Teenager Charged With Setting Fire To Ex-Girlfriend's House

A Walton County teenager who was spurned by his girlfriend has been charged with arson for allegedly setting her house on fire.

According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office, Angus Bishop Anderson, 19, of DeFuniak Springs also faces charges of burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief.

Anderson allegedly set fire to a house in Seagrove Beach on January 7 because he was distraught over a breakup with the homeowner's daughter.

The fire damaged the first floor of the house and the owner reported several items missing from the residence.
