Three people are in the Walton County Jail after sheriff's deputies busted a meth lab in DeFuniak Springs.
According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office (WCSO), investigators received a tip that an active methamphetamine lab was located inside a house at 310 Cat Island Road. When officers went to the scene, they allegedly discovered items used for manufacturing methamphetamine.
The WCSO Vice/Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant and reportedly recovered an active lab, more than 200 grams of methamphetamine oil and several grams of finished product. The WCSO said it also found chemicals used in the manufacturing process, a small amount of marijuana and several items of paraphernalia including cooking vessels, smoking devices and hypodermic syringes.
