NASCAR Visits Bay County Elementary Schools

NASCAR is one of the most popular spectator sports in the nation and Tuesday, students from two Bay County elementary schools got a chance to see a race car up close.

This special tour traveled to every Florida county as part of the "Just Read" program which encourages kids to read at least 20 minutes a day.

At Northside Elementary School, students had the opportunity to see the stock car up close. One lucky child even had an opportunity to get into the driver's seat.
