With spring just around the corner Bay County gardener's are getting ready to plant this years fruits and vegetable crops.
It was a full house at the University of Florida's Extension Center, as green thumbs learned the finer points of gardening.
Experts from UF's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences shared their tips. Topics included how to prepare soil, and ideal growing locations to ensure the best results.
"The whole point it to offer low cost and to share the information from the university to help people improve their live quality here in Bay County and to offer programs that are free or low coast," says McConnell.
