Bay County Transportation Planning Organization (Bay County TPO) will hold a public meeting to solicit input regarding a proposed fare increase for Bay Town Trolley. If approved, the proposed increase will go into effect March 1, 2013, and:
Bay County TPO wants to hear from riders about how this proposed increase will impact them. "Funding decreases mean that we're faced with the difficult decision of reducing services that our riders depend on or increasing fares to retain the current level of operations," said Gene Keen, Chief Administrative Manager of Bay Town Trolley. "Our riders are our greatest asset, and for this reason, it is imperative that we hear from them on this issue. We value their opinions and encourage all to come and have your voice be heard."
If you would like to comment on the proposal, please plan to attend the public meeting on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, 10:00 am CST at the Bay County Public Library (898 W. 11th Street, Panama City, FL 32401). Public comments will be heard from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
