Leadership Bay Class Presents Check to Bay County Commission - WMBB News 13 - The Panhandle's News Leader

Today, the Bay County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Bay Class of 2011-2012 presented the Bay County Board of Commissioners with a check for $7,253 for the Law Enforcement Memorial. The memorial is located at the Bay County Government Complex on 840 West 11^th Street.

The balance of the funds, raised by the 2011-2012 Leadership Bay class, will go to underwrite expenses to be incurred by the county for the memorial. Over $50,000 in local funds were raised to help honor fallen officers. The memorial was dedicated in December 2012.
