A Bay County teen is recognized for pushing the limits with paint.
Corey Casey, an Arnold High School Student, has been volunteering his time to paint a mural at Springfield Elementary School.
The main work on the project took place from early September through November.
Wednesday marked the official ribbon cutting and dedication of his many hours of work.
Northstar Church, who has a partnership with the school, says Casey is a member of their congregation.
His talents were recruited because of his previous work on murals at the campuses of Waller Elementary and Arnold High School. Although he loves volunteering, Casey says he's open for other projects.
"I enjoyed helping out here at Springfield and it was really fun. And I enjoyed helping out at Waller and Arnold, and I really loved all of it, but I'd like to step it up for some jobs and really kick it up a notch," Casey said.
The mural painted on the library is a permanent fixture to be enjoyed for many years to come.
