The Beach Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Its Members

The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce recognized its members on Thursday night with its Annual Awards Dinner at the Edgewater Beach Resort.  The celebration did not only include an awards ceremony but a special performance by Abigail Rose.

In addition to the special performance, the theme of the dinner was fire and ice with a focus on key areas for 2013.  "The primary focus of this year's chamber is our members what are their needs, what's their goals and objectives,"   2013 Chairmen Derrick Bennett said.  "2013 we really want to help small business we want to help small business grow...got a lot of issues going on with healthcare reform with the economy and we are really looking to protect and help those small businesses grow and achieve and drive our economy,"  Interim President Paul Wohlford said.

Overall the night was about celebrating and enjoying the performance of Abigail Rose and awarding the Pioneer Award which is the highest honor of the year.
