Search for Missing Teen Leads to Meth Arrest

The Bay County Sheriff's Office arrested David Newell today after discovering a meth lab in his home while searching for missing teenager Teri Creamer.

Deputies and investigators went to Newell's home because he is a registered Sexual Predator and lived in the Southport area near where missing teen Teri Creamer was last seen.

Newell consented to a search of his home and deputies discovered a shake and bake type of meth lab in the cabinets of his bathroom.

Newell was arrested and charged with manufacture of Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine more than 200 grams, Manufacture of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
