After a very successful district competition, Arnold High School's International Thespian Society students perform their award winning material for an audience at home.
"We have acting musical theater and technical performing tonight. Including pieces that one best overall in their categories and best over in the district," says Kathleen McNulty, one of Arnold's drama directors.
Friday night's District Showcase allows the Arnold High School's ITS students to perform their award winning pieces.
"It's a vulnerability thing. It's letting the audience see inside of you for just a moment there, and that's really, really difficult just letting all these people see a part of you that you don't want anybody to see," says Holly Fuller, who will be performing at the state festival.
The troop will be bringing twelve pieces to the state festival.
"We worked very, very hard on these pieces we worked from summer all the way until December when we competed," says Peyton Glendinning, one of the student performers.
This is the first time that a school from this district has been awarded both the Best Overall Technical and the Best Overall Performance in the same year.
