On Sunday, a tropical spent a third day atop a tree near downtown Panama City and gave no indication it planned to come down any time soon.
The blue and yellow macaw's loud squawks could be heard by passersby along Harrison Avenue. Witnesses told News 13 it was not the first time the macaw had flown the coop.
Firefighters from the Panama City Fire Department showed up but, once the bird's owner arrived, it was decided to let the macaw come down on its own.
