UPDATE: Authorities Capture Escaped Inmate

UPDATE:  According to the Bay County Sheriff's Office, escaped inmate Brandon Bingaman was captured at about 10:00 p.m. at the Sanpiper Beach Resort.

Law enforcement authorities are searching for an inmate who failed to return to the Work Release Center in Panama City after an approved family visit Sunday.

The inmate is identified as Brandon Bingaman, 27.  He has brown hair and blue eyes and is 5'-8" tall and weighs 143 pounds.  Bingaman has a tattoo of a timepiece on his left leg.

Authorities said the escapee could be traveling in a green 2003 Jaguar bearing Florida license plate 383 XR.

Bingaman was incarcerated for drug and property crimes.
