Gulf Coast Pitcher Olivia McLemore Earns Player Of Week, Twice

The Gulf Coast Commodores have played 11 softball games in the month of March, they have won 10 of those 11 games.

Thanks in part to the Florida College System Activities Association/Region viii Pitcher of the week, Olivia McLemore.

Matter of fact McLemore has won the honor the last two weeks.

It is believed that this is the first time in history that a Pitcher has been selected 2 consecutive weeks.

In Olivia's last two outings on the mound for Gulf Coast, she has pitched a total of nine innings, only giving up one hit, one walk and striking out eight. The Dores won both of those games by the same score, 8-0.

The Lady Commodores have 24-8 overall record and begin Panhandle Conference play March, 20th as they will travel over to Niceville for a double header with Northwest Florida State.
